Words by Maria Fernanda
I’m a water photographer born and raised in Mexico City with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in Tourism. I grew up as a competitive swimmer and I always had a passion for the ocean even though I lived far from it.
After graduating from college I started to get a little more into photography, but it wasn’t until I travelled to Hawaii a few years ago that my passion for water photography started. This past three years Ive been spending most of my time between Hawaii, South California and Mexico, taking pictures on the ocean and surfing the different breaks.
Through my pictures I want to be able to share the amazing beauty of the ocean and the joy that I experience by being out in the big waves and on the lineup, its just the best feeling in the world when you are surrounded by the great power of the ocean. Its a feeling that I could never express in words but I can share at least a bit of it through my pictures!
Thanks for sharing your passion with us Maria!
