A small group of local females have organised a female surfing day in a small Vanuatu village with the aim of introducing surfing to other girls in the area. Two local sisters Resmah and Risu Kalotiti are two of the only girls who surf in the village at the moment. With the help of Sam Suendermann and the Vanuatu Surfing Association, the Kalotiti sisters were able to advertise and gather a fair few local girls to participate in the days activities. Their first all-female surf day was filmed in Pango Village in small, forgiving waves. A fair few local girls attended and for most of them this was their first time trying surfing. From the sounds of their post surf interviews it seems all of the girl had a lot of fun! A very cute, heartwarming video sharing the stoke of surfing.
